Goshu Kohsan (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Hanoi City, Vietnam, General Director: PhD. Hisato “Keith” Takeda [Professional Engineer (Jp), First Class Plumbing Work Management Engineer], hereinafter referred to as “Our company”) agreed to build cooperation by signing a memorandum of understanding with The University of Danang – University of Science and Technology (Rector: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Quang Vinh, hereinafter referred to as “UD-DUT”) at Danang City, Vietnam, on April 9, 2021.
In central of Vietnam – with Danang city is main focus, there is a shortage of researchers and engineers in the fields of water treatment and wastewater treatment. The MoU has been signed with DUT to support researcher/engineer to carry out engineer exchange and collaborative research in this field. The main purpose of this MoU is to endeavor to develop engineers and researchers. Moreover, it is believed to make a significant contribution to the water environment improvement by collaborating the exchanging educational and scientific information from engineers and both students and researchers.
In the future, the following activities are expected to carry out by both parties:
(1) Implementation of collaborative research projects
(2) Exchange of academic reports and publications
(3) Holding joint symposiums, workshops, lectures, and conferences
(4) Creating internship opportunity and related activities
