MECHANICAL ENGINEER

POSITION OVERVIEW

Design and deliver mechanical and piping systems for industrial water and wastewater treatment projects, with responsibility for technical quality, cost, schedule, documentation, and site coordination.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Design mechanical and piping systems in accordance with Vietnamese standards, industrial park requirements, and project specifications.
• Prepare material quantity take-offs (MTOs) from approved drawings and project requirements.
• Control the quality of mechanical works throughout project execution.
• Monitor project cost, schedule, and quality to support timely delivery.
• Participate in site installation, inspection, testing, and project implementation.
• Clarify technical matters and revise drawings or documents based on Client and Consultant comments.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare progress reports, operation manuals, manufacturers’ documents, and handover packages.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least three years of relevant experience is preferred for the Mechanical Engineer role.
• Experience in water and wastewater treatment projects is an advantage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD/CAD and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Good English communication skills and an understanding of project execution procedures.
• Candidates without relevant experience may begin as CAD Operators and progress toward a site-based Mechanical Engineer role.
